Welcome to my little garden
STORIES
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.”
— Matthew 13:31
Although they didn’t own a garden, my parents were always planting seeds. Little seeds, not of grain or fruit, but of faith. Their sowing often took the form of real-life stories. I heard stories of that came from the green hills of Mangalore, the bustling lanes of Mumbai, and the simple homes of people I knew. In every story, I saw His hand.
Fast-forward a few decades, and I found myself sharing my own stories and listening to friends share theirs, often over a cup of chai or coffee. We shared our hearts – the joys and struggles of living out our calling to become better spouses, parents, and Christians.
The Smallest of Seeds is a project that took root in my heart over many such cuppas. These sometimes-thoughtful, sometimes-animated conversations sparked in me a quiet desire to write about faith not as something that is to be achieved but as something to be lived: slowly, honestly, and often in silence.
In this little patch on the Internet, my own little garden so-to-speak, I’ll share reflections on Scripture, stories of the saints, and moments of faith — not because I have answers but because I hope to connect with others like me, who are trying to run the good race. Trying to become all that God has called us to be.
I hope to plant tiny seeds of encouragement, faith, hope and love in the heart of anyone who stops by. For I may not be able to do great, big things; but I can do little things with great, big love.
We all need a little help, a little encouragement.
I know; I have received much.
Thank you for stopping by. I pray that these tiny, humble seeds sown here bear rich fruit.
